How to Qualify Print
HOW TO QUALIFY FOR THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS

Teams must play in at least two (2) Events (A combination of a complete MCFFU/USSSA sanctioned league season and/or MCFFU/USSSA tournament) between January 1st and August 1st.

One (1) of the events must be in state in which the State Championship is being held; the other can be an NIT or other sanctioned MCFFU/USSSA tournament. If a team plays their first event after June 1, they are subject to being bumped in classification if warranted.

In order to be eligible to receive a berth, a team must have their roster on-line prior to the event in which they qualified or have a hard copy submitted to the Tournament Director that is printed from the USSSA website. If their roster is not properly submitted before the given deadline, the berth will be awarded to the next team.

NOTE: In an event that the MCFFU/USSSA program is new to your area, different terms may apply. Consult with the listed State Director or the MCFFU office mc ... @mcffu.com to receive the details of the State Championship.

League Play - In a MCFFU/USSSA Sanctioned League, all participating teams in all divisions receive State Championship Berths.

Tournament Play - in a MCFFU/USSSA Sanctioned Tournament (including State Level 2 tournaments and NIT’s), all teams in every division will receive a State Championship Berth in their respective state.

Tournament Participation - If a team has made a legitimate attempt to Qualify and has fallen short, they may request an “At-Large Berth” from the State Headquarters or the MCFFU office.

At-Large Berths - With the guidance of the local MCFFU/USSSA State Director, Berths may be awarded that are deemed to perpetuate the MCFFU/USSSA Flag Football Program.

NOTE: ALL ELIGIBLE TEAMS MUST BE SUBMITTED VIA THE STATE DIRECTOR OR THE TOP HEAD MCFFU/USSSA OFFICIAL IN WHICH THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP IS BEING HELD.
